SHIPMENTS

AMIGA’s ministry is the work of many, guided by the Hand of God,  throughout the year.

In 2017, AMIGA sent its fifteenth 40 foot container full of items to help the poor and needy in Honduras.

A typical shipment contains boxes upon boxes of clothing and household goods; vitamin collections; thousands of bars of soap and hand made cloth pharmacy bags; handmade blankets for the elderly, school supplies, medical equipment and AMIGA’s purchase of the majority of  the needed medications for the brigades.

Who makes it possible?

Four major parties make these shipments possible.

  1. OLPH In collaboration with AMIGA, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Parish (OLPH, San Antonio, TX) generously manages AMIGA’s shipment needs with in-kind donations from (St. Louis, Texas and beyond), service, and financial support for the shipment expenses. The OLPH ministry partnership has grown in size and love.

OLPH sent their seventh shipment this year and have already started collecting for 2018 through the work of many committed indiviudals and a committed leadership in the parish; just weeks after the most recent one left for Honduras.

  2. SSM Health Clayton Health Services

  3. Blessings International Collaboration with pharmacies in the U.S.  assures quality medications for those we serve. Thanks to Blessings International and SSM Clayton Health Services (St. Louis, MO) for providing quality products at a reduced cost.

  4. SAR A special thanks to  St. Alban Roe Catholic parish (Wildwood, MO) and to all of our supporters that enable us to purchase adequate medicines and medical supplies.

The disbursement of these shipped goods would not be possible without the  partnership of and collaboration with our friends in Honduras who to empower us to serve those that are most in need.
